Woyke & Company is the consulting
firm of John F. Woyke. Mr. Woyke has had a long career
in law, mathematics
and finance that has resulted in unique expertise in
a number of areas. All of which involve the intersection
of legal structures with long term financial projections.
Mr. Woyke has an under graduate degree from Yale with
a major in Mathematics and physics, a law degree (also
from Yale) and is an actuary, a fellow of the conference
of Consulting Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary, and a
Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
In 1977
Mr. Woyke founded American Sunsystems, Inc., a solar
energy firm, which grew to be the largest such
firm on the East Coast. American Sunsystems pioneered
commercialization of solar energy systems, and installed
approximately 3,000 systems during the period of its
existence. The bulk of these were solar thermal systems,
but the company was also involved in larger scale commercial
thermal and photovoltaic systems. It also manufactured
solar collectors using selective coating technology.

Mr.
Woyke is involved in projects involving pensions and
similar long-term employee benefits, life insurance,
especially company-owned life
insurance (COLI) or bank-owned
life insurance (BOLI), and underwriting benefits through
captive insurance companies.
Woyke and Company was founded
in 2001 by John F. Woyke, after retiring as principal
of Towers Perrin, a management
consulting firm that specializes in employee benefit
and insurance consulting. Woyke & Company continues
to perform services for Towers Perrin in the field
of Strategic Benefits Financing (a trademark of Towers
Perrin).
Mr. Woyke has also been involved in a number
of projects involving providing financial security
to the elderly
through programs involving real estate financing.
He is a co-owner of Home Equity Management, Inc., a
property
management company focusing on managing residential
properties.
Mr. Woyke is the sole employee of Woyke and Company.
He has co-consulting arrangements, however, with
additional personnel sufficient to staff large scale
projects.
Woyke and Company is a member of the American
Solar Energy Industry Association (ASEA). Mr. Woyke
is
a member of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES).
